Hello Everyone,

We’re all looking forward to spring as the winter weather has gone on and on for far too long — never ending, it seems. Some of us saw the snow fall in mid-April! Hopefully now we’ll be able to enjoy a period of spring-like weather to be able to open our camps for another summer of enjoyment.

The ice is now out of the lake as of the last week of April, and that’s great news. I was told that the ice fishermen had an excellent season of fishing this year.

Your Board has been extra busy planning for a great summer. We’ve been working to improve the Lake Watch program, preparing a membership drive, and just completed our map project, among other things. As always, we hope you’ll continue to support the Youth Conservation Corps, water testing, and other environmental measures to preserve Mousam Lake.
