MLRA Golf 2007 Report

The third annual MLRA Golf Tournament was held at Province Lake Golf Club on Friday August 10, 2007.  We had a record 100 participants this year.  The main goal of the Tournament was to bring together Mousam Lake golfers for fun off the lake.  The other goal was to raise money for the MLRA and the Acton Shapleigh Youth Conservation Corp.

Once again a special thanks to Gary Miller and Miller Ford who provided us a new car as a prize for a hole in one.  Unfortunately, no one drove away with the new car again this year.  Miller Ford also donated about a number of auto maintenance gift certificates for our raffle.  We would also like to thank Carol Porter and the staff of Province Lake Golf Course for their support and contributions to a successful tournament.
