Foot of the Lake



Beach at the Foot of the Lake 
 
Mousam Lake Region Association maintains the beach area at the Foot of Mousam Lake, adjacent to the Rogers Bridge which separates Lower Mousam from Upper Mousam Lake.  
 
The Beach has been maintained by Dr. Roger Gutner for several years, during which he visits daily to clear away any debris or trash left behind and he checks the condition of the Porta-Potty and ensures that the ramp and pathways are clear and safe for people walking down to the beach. Improvements in landscaping and pathways have been made to enable safe passage to the beach from the roadway and markers are placed in the water each summer to delineate swimming areas for boat traffic to avoid.
