4th of July Boat Parade

Held on the 4th of July, the Annual Boat Parade is an opportunity for members to decorate their boats in any theme they wish (family friendly of course!) and travel down the lake from Carpenter’s Cove to the Foot on Upper Mousam. Prizes are awarded to the top three entrants for both the Large Boat and Small boat category. Registration begins at 11am in Carpenter’s Cove (upper part of Mousam) and the parade travels down to the Foot on the Shapleigh side for even years and Acton side for odd years. This is a lot of fun for young and old, with many lakefront residents viewing from the shoreline.
